We've got 2 bikes, a 97 F3 and a 94 1000F. Both of them have their original factory seats. They're both (the seats) in pretty good condition. No tears or anything. We bought the bikes within the last year. I was wanting to get opinions what how to best protect the part that some might say, gets the most wear. Any thoughts or product recomendations would be great.

Honda Polish in the aerosol spray can. Just under $5 at your dealership and it will clean the whole bike . . .

Let me CAUTION you though...  using this polish makes the seat VERY slippery.  I believe they even recommend not using it on the seat.  That aside, it does do a good job in "cleaning" it, but I don't know about "preserving" it.  I think any good vinyl cleaner/preserve would do the trick...  and they all prob make the saddle a little slick.

So if you do choose to use it, be careful.  My $0.02.
