Probably a dumb question, but will these fit the 06? I know a few things changed from 05 to 06, just curious.

its not the fake purple or blue that only looks bright

I don't like silverstars. I put them in my car and they looked amber.

really
thats wierd

all the reports i have ever looked up on these say that they are the closet to true white light you can get without getting into HID

and they were the actual silverstar with the grey tip on the bulb

I paid $12 for my H-7 silverstars at wally world. They might have been priced wrong, who knows.... I did buy the five sets they had though... :)

the real way to do it is to retrofit a set of projectors into the housings, which will cost around 400 if you do it yourself. the cheap bulbs will not project the same light (like bmw's, s2000's, etc.) and hid conversions will cause a lot of glare.

the writeup isn't for a motorcycle, but it will give you a very good idea of what to do. i've spoken with a couple of people who have done hundres of retrofits and they say it can be done on my bike. i'm actually having one of them do it for me (they are going to use e46 m3 projectors).
