My question is why??? These bikes dont make enough power to really need the length for launching, and you just screw your handling up.

Just for looks?

I was thinking the same thing... I don't understand why you would want to extend the arm on a f-3. I had one and it was hell hetting it to pop up with no clutch. when you race you probably won't pre-load suspension. I have a 929 now and still won't extend it one because it really doesn't need it, and two I love my corners too much. Please explain this...

I was thinkin about the 3" cause the F3 looks short to me, The rear tire would look hot alil longer- would make the bike

look bigger... Reasons - For looks if yous need to know.

And how can it mess up the handling? and how bad

and time you change ride height it will affect handling. If yhe bike is longer just from the swing arm it will seem to "swey" in the corners. But that is only if you really take corners hard. And you will also feel every bump in the road on the back end. If you just like to ride around and look good, and even take off a little faster from the line then more power to you. I guess it's just not for me. Let us know what you end up doing and how it looks! thanks!

"seem to "swey" in the corners"

what ever in the world made you think a longer swingarm would "swey" as you say.

It's not as stable. Any time you extend a swing arm it will make that back end flex a little more. I guess swey may be the wrong word... flex was what I was going for. The bike just won't be as stable in the corners.

Doesnt matter why he wants to, just answer his question without nit picking it. Id also love to extend the swingarm for *gasp* just looks. A lot of people like myself will sacrifice performance for looks. Extend that bitch and have fun.

That seems kind of expensive for a three inch extension. Is it noticeable? I'd be curious to see some before/after.

chill out. I wasn't "nit picking" anything. And I have nothing against what you guys are doing. I was just curious.

Wow that's only 3 inches? I'm impressed, definitely gives the bike a different look. I personally dig the small stuff (R6 or 600RR). I also second Weeble's picture request for your bike. =]
