Does anyone know where to find one or what is the cost of a stock exhaust for an '04 F4i? I am looking to buy a bike with an aftermarket exhaust that the current owner describes as "very loud!" I prefer quiet. I looked on Ebay but had no luck. Any thoughts???

You must not be looking in the right place on eBay. I saw about 6 or 7 different auctions for stock exhaust cans just yesterday. Do a search for "F4i exhaust" and you'll pull up several. Don't ask me about what years will fit, because I'm a newb to this forum. But I don't think they made any changes on the exhaust fitment since the F4i came out.

i've also got one from an '02 that i'm not using. but there are some really sweet aftermarket pipes out there that don't earn the reputation for noise that aftermarkets have been given. i advise you to look around if output decibels is your concern.

It's kind of funny anyone with an I-4 would be worried about it being too loud. I have a straight thru race pipe on my Aprilia Falco and that thing hovers somewhere around 104dB. The F4i I just bought has a shortened Two Brothers Race Can, and it sounds like a fart compared to the Vtwin! I hope I will be able to at least hear the Honda at say, 80mph...
