HOBBS 55, that's my bike in your picture. Stock 06 CBR1000RR, to 160 without healer in 5th, lots left. Had a cross wind and the pressure on my helmet made things blurry, couldn't hide from the wind enough. 140 often. Not much traffic where I'm at, but I do run out of staightaway, rightaway! It does seem to help if I have a backpack on, more aerodynamic.

i have an 04 1000 and saw 183 mph. i had to let off because i was about to top a hill and couldnt see what was on the other side. the bike was still pulling pretty good.

Hello Gentlemen, I was running with a guy on a ZX14 one day ( I was late for a funeral) and I got my 1K to 175 (uncorrected) after that I quit watching the speedo. It was still pulling pretty hard. I had to get out of it when I went across a small bridge because there was a bump and the front end came up on me. That guy on the 14 couldnt believe I was still with him. Once the road tightened up a little I went around and seeee yaaaa!!!

I'm back after a vacation on the other side of the world. I had mine at 168 before my knees started to shake.

I know the question said stock 06, but I put my mods in after my break in period, so I didn't push it until then. I thought I'd share this anyways. Topped it out at 186 coming back from Daytona Fl. (Biketober fest) to Orlando fl. Still pulling hard though. No speedo healer, but some nice mods on my bike. For all you CBR 1000 fans, when we started to hit it real hard there was a Busa, GSXR 1000 and a ZX10 in the bunch along with a few others, Yamaha and another CBR. When I looked at my speedo and saw how fast I was going I quickly let up. When I looked behind in my mirrors, I saw no bikes behind me. When I rolled down to about 145 Mph, I saw the headlights of the ZX10 coming hard from the rear. Nice ride home I might add. I even got 141 miles out of her before the fuel light came on. That's a first for my bike. Mostly all highway miles though.

I got my 2006 CBR 1000RR "Stock" Well no engine mods! Up to 165 mph. It was very fun. But also a bit nerve racking. Next time I will have to tap out the bike!!!!

One reason some of you guys might have different top ends is your altitude, makes a big difference I hear.

Alright, I broke my 105. Went 156 before becoming "chicken" on the pub. roads. Way too many tickets in the past, mostly on my RD.

hello every body, had mine up to 168 , no correction, n 5th gear, thought i was n 6th. thats pretty fast i think 4 the road i was on .ran out of room. (stock 06 1000rr, oh yah, ps. i weigh 240 lbs 6'1". bike was rock solid did not seem that fast. still had some left !!!!!!!!!! go honda go........................................................

Went out for the last ride of the year and Got 176. Weeeeee! I know It's actually slower but Holy Shit it's still fun!, Maby if I got stickers or some spikes I could go faster... Hmmmmm

I never saw it for myself. I had a track timer on my bike and the track kept track of my speed (don't ask me how) and time. I was trying to get a fast lap, had no idea I was going that fast. They told me my top speed and I almost shat my pants, lol.

Ive got a stock 06 600RR and Ive had it up to 155mph per my Honda calibrated spedometer. AND i was only at about 13000rpm so I know it will do more.
