I would definately re-jet the carbs if I get a new pipe, but I don't think I am now that I am doing all the work on the factory pipe that I am doing. It should be finished by the end of this week, and I will post pics. If you want a prelim, google 1992 Suzuki GSX-R 750 stock exhaust. I cut out a portion of the muffler where the mid-pipe meets the canister and I'm TIG welding a stainless plate in it's place. I should have another 1.25" or so of ground clearance when done! What exactly do you mean by re-syncing? I was also thinking about putting a stage 1 in this sumer, just for giggles. I asked on another forum about doing a stage 1 (maybe 2) with the stock exhaust, and my only reply so far was just to leave it alone because it IS just the stock pipe (and headers too of course). I would really like a little more power tho (so I can keep up better with the newer bikes) 1999 CBR F4 Michelin Pilot Powers Suspension stiffened to race setting (holy crap, what a difference!) Vortex Lightweight Drive sprockets, OEM gearing (front and rear) RK 525XSO race chain K&N airfilter Puig Race Windshield (again, what a difference!) *adding clearance plate to stock muffler, look up 1992 GSX-R 750 stock exhaust to see what I mean... *making brackets (6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum) to move rear-sets up and back 1" Thumbnail Image
