Well I finally got my bike back from the shop !!!!!!! So today I put on the D&D slip on I bought off ebay...It is not really as loud as everyone says it is....but I also bought a vance and hines off ebay which should be here next week. I will post up some sounds clips of the two pipes as i know there are alot of people that like to hear it before they buy it. D&D will be posted tommorow, Vance and Hines will be next week.

I dont have the Vance and hines yet, but I will most likely go with that.

My bike right now is leaking oil so i am going to take the fairings off and see where it is coming from before I decide to take it back to the shop...hopefully I can gte it fixed today, then i can ride some

Here is my D&D at the beginning it is idling at 4k RPM take it up to 11k rpm then a few revs 6-8k rpms, then back down to idle at 1300 rpm.....It isn't as loud idling as it appears to be on the video......

Oh yea its almost 13MB for 30 sec clip...I will adjust my camera when I do the V&H

I have this pipe for sale on ebay. Got my V&H but had to work with the midpipe to get it to fit. I dont think it came off an F4, but I got it on there.

What is everyone's opinion on Vance and Hines? (S4 in particular). I really like the V&H. I have also been looking into Two Brothers and Ti-Force. I am currently putting a clearance plate on my stock F4 canister (inspiration taken from the 1992 Gixxer 750 stock exhaust). I may just run the stock exhaust because I own the only sportbke in my town, and my bike is yellow. The rozzies in town are eyeing me up already, and I haven't done anything illegal yet!

Thanks in advance!

My f4 has a D+D slip on shorty and it sounds very good almost as good as my buddies ZX7 with a full muzzy exaust
not quite as loud but just as wicked my other buddy has a zx6 with a yoshi slip on and it sounds like crap compared to ours.

Hill1513-

Do you have the V&V S4? If so where did you get it from?

1999 CBR F4
Michelin Pilot Powers
Suspension stiffened to race setting (holy crap, what a difference!)
Vortex Lightweight Drive sprockets, OEM gearing (front and rear)
RK 525XSO race chain
K&N airfilter
Puig Race Windshield (again, what a difference!)

*adding clearance plate to stock muffler, look up 1992 GSX-R 750 stock exhaust to see what I mean...
*making brackets (6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum) to move rear-sets up and back 1"

Yes I do, I got it with the bike when I purchased it. It was quite a difference over stock.

Hey are you going to re-sync your carbs with this pipe? I suggest anyone with an aftermarket re-sync the carbs, because eventually it's going to become unsynced and mess up the valves. Just my experience. I had a Two Bros, and now my carbs are unsynced. I'm going to put a DynoJet while I resync them so all is well. I'm hesitating because I don't want to buy another aftermarket pipe and have to resync yet another time.
