Hey everyone I am new to this and from what I have seen, and read so far, looks good to me. I bought a 05 600rr about 2 months ago and am now getting to change some things, I bought some Lockhart phillips flush mount side markers, please can someone help me if I am not mistaken by the look of the stock light you have to grind down the lip on the forward part in order to make it flush.

Whoa big boy -- don't go grinding yet! Are these LP marker lights for the front blinks? If so all you should have to do is drill one small hole for the bolts to go through. Be 100% sure of what you do cause it unfortunately is not reversable.

Welcome to the boards too!

IMO Sell the generic LP's and buy some made to fit Gregg's or Watsen front flush mount lights. I personally have the Gregg's mounted on my bike and like them a lot. I've seen LP's and don't like how they fit.

I like mine o.k. They aren't Gregg's Customs (actually they are cause I'm Gregg) but for under $15 you just can't beat 'em. Easy install and didn't have to cut nothing. Just a teensy hole for the back bolt in the recess where the stockers were. I could go back to stock and you'd never know the LP's were on there. And a small piece o'advice -- cut the stock connector off with enough room to solder it to the new lights.
