I have both H4 and H7, so that should cover about 90% of bikes out there. Let me know what bike you have and I can check for you.

So do those lights have some sort of lens built in to give it the flat cut off on the light pattern? I thought that you had to have projection headlights to use HID bulbs?? Or it would scatter to much and blind oncoming traffic...

It really depends on the bike and how you aim them. On my bike (in the picture) it is just the HID in the stock reflector housing. It has a pretty nice cut-off. If you want to do a whole projector retrofit, the cost of each light would be $200 or more.. but the hard part is all the work needed to actually retrofit everything on the bike.

Just helping out, but I heard on another forum that you can put the ballast in the rear and just extend the wires with some 16 gauge wire. They say its not hard. Thats if you cant find the room behind the headlight. Just an FYI

How would these work on a 91 1000F? It doesn't have the reflector lens, rather the cut lens to deflect the light.

Hi LikitySplit, I am not certain if I understand your question completely. How is it currently configured? Do you have one H7 for low beam and one H7 for high beam (like the 600rr's)? Or are both H7's for low-beams? The kit replaces just one H7 bulb. If you want to replace both H7 bulbs, it'll be $180 shipped. The HID lights will come on the same way your current lights come on. If you want to change the way it comes on, you'll need to change the way the headlights are wired. Let me know if you have any other questions. Sincerely, Joseph
