It happened a few minutes ago. I wanted to park it in my yard and to keep it away from sidewalk traffic it had to be on the grass. So I was so freaking careful moving it, getting ready to place blocks of wood under the tires and kickstand that I FORGOT to put the kickstand down initially getting off the bike. Of course hard as I could hold it up, gravity prevailed. aargh!!! At least it was on grass and i 'guided' it down. I finally managed to bring the bike upright. It started ok, except for smoky exhaust for a couple of minutes. Then I saw black and red leaky oilish substance by the kickstand. Could something have leaked and how can I check it? what would be the red stuff? Could my handlebars be misaligned from hitting the grass? I broke my record for not dropping my bike! Just needed to vent guys, thanks.

you're most likely ok...black stuff is likely oil...red stuff...like somewhat red but not like blood red right? it's your pride bleeding...no...haahha...probably gasoline if you use super unlead...as far as alignment, you should be ok from a drop in the grass...

Yup! I did the kickstand thing, leaned into the car parked next to me and got suck. My girlfriend had to help me lift it back up. lucky me not a scratch.

ur right tahoe sc, just topped it off with super u/l. seems to ride ok so far, except when i turn the bars all the way left and to the right to sort of sloppy measure alignment with 2 fingers width( using the H as a marker on the tank), all the way to the right presses tight on my fingers and all the way to the left is noticeably looser. i hope someone knows what i mean describing that method. im actually not sure if it happened today or thats how I bought the bike. The tree seems straight. Either way, I hope I can make the sides equal with loosening the clamps, aligning and tightening again.

it is just your handlebars, not your fork clamps...you can adjust the handlebars, thats all that is wrong....trust me nothing happened from a small fall in the grass, my bike has been flipped into a ditch, tipped over, and slid out from under me in wet grass and it still is straight, althought the crash knocked my fork out of alignment and had to loosen the bolts and tighten them back

Turned into a whole production...So fing embarrassing.
