First off I want to say hi. I'm a new member and new to riding. I have a 91 F2 that has become a streetfighter project. I'm in the process of puting in a used clutch (good deal off ebay just to get it runnin). My problem is that after I got it in and put the cover back on the clutch is way too easy to engage (pull the lever it only feels like I am pulling against the return spring instead of the clutch springs). My Haynes manual said to tighten the clutch spring retainer bolts evenly until all are tight, but how tight. With them all the way tightened it seems like the clutch disengaging and I can't get it out of gear to put it in nuetral to start the bike. I'm not sure if I have the bolts too tight or if is some other problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much to all the moderators and other members for making this a very informative and entertaining forum to be a part of.

Josh
