ok just got a battery out of the box do i give it the full charge or is it good to go?

Did you have to add the acid, or was it already in? If you had to add the acid, the battery will need to be charged before you use it. If it already came together, use a voltmeter to check the potential across the posts. If the voltage reads 13.5 or higher it should be good to go. I am kinda surprised that your batt didn't come with instructions... if it did, go read them!

Whoops, I just put the acid in my battery and was on my way. No problems here. But I will keep that in mind.

edit: BTW thats a dang good looking F2

I think all battery's are dead when you get um.

Just push start your bike and then go on a long ride and the battery will charge up while ridding.

When i first got my bike I had to do alot of things to get it to run right, i also had to get a new battery. Like i said, i put the chemicals in and tried to start the engine for about an hour working on it, and I didnt charge one bit. Still running on the same battery too.

yeah when i got my battery i put the acid in and hooked it up and was good to go.

Your supposed to fill them up then slow charge them for 12 hours or so at 1-2amp.

But normally after you will them and let them sit for alittle while it will have enough juice to start the bike.
