I'm on an 1100xx just put in a K&N air filter saving for some D&D's so people can actually hear me coming. and a power commander is sure to follow that. That's all I Will do for now may eventually go with a turbo kit if I can find one. although she's already retarded fast. Also if anyone knows a website that makes racing parts for My 'bird let me know thanks.

I just did a couple of mods that I am pretty proud of.

1. I integrated a radar detector and an mp3 player together pigtailed and carved out some of the ploystyrene in the ear cups to fit a set of speakers. The cool thing about it was I backwired the mp3 player so that when the radar goes off, it cuts out the music. The best part about it was that the volume of either do not interfer with ambient sounds I want to hear.

2. I put a k&N filter in with a full Black Widow racing exhaust. Titanium headers, stainless mid pipe, and carbon fiber can. It sounds real nice after I repacked the can.

3. I just completed a DIY tail light integrator. I went to uhaul and bought the 3 to 2 converter and it works real nice. That allowed me to get rid of the big cigar box turn signals from the back and give a more streamlined look. I am in the process of making my own tail light that would incorporate only two cylinders about 3 inches in diameter and molding them into the rear cowl.

I never had a sport bike that was worth doing mods on it as it was reputable enough. The best part is the personalized license plate.

NICE bike 1bad. Spittin image of my current steed. Great looking/performing ride. Let me know how your dyno turns out. I'd like to compare. I havent put mine on yet, but am guessing around 120-125 at the tire based on bikes my friends own and what their published HP is in various magazines.

do you have anyschematics on how you did this cause i want to be able to hear my dector go off instead of just watching for the lights. I love the invention of the MP3 player. no more skipping CDs. anyways please help with anything you can about this

I don't have a schematic of the wiring, but I will get it out and take a picture of it.  Give me a little time today.  In fact, I'll post it in the DIY / HOW TO section for everyone.
