Neat. How did you prep the levers? Cleaning? Solvents? My gloves always get black from the aluminum. How does the clutch work with the rubber? Can you still fan the lever between shifts?

I would clean the lever really good, to make sure there is no junk and grease on it. I may even go as far as roughing the lever up with sand paper, so the rubber dip has something to grip onto. make sure not to dip all the way up to the end of the lever- or it could hinder the operation of the clutch and brake's. I would say leave atleast 1 and 1/2 inch of lever expose. I have not done this on my bike yet, so I cant tell you If I can feel anything.
