ORIGINAL: Tong3 Honda part numbers "SB8125 or SB8125L " M8 x 1.25 Long Or Short For bikes with the radial brakes and Tokico calipers (e.g. 600RR and 1000RR), you need to use SB7100. But the rear Nissin caliper would use the SB8xxx.

So the advantage with the speedbleeders is that the bleeder screw doesn't have to be tightened down inbetween pumping? I prefer to tighten down the bleeder screw so I can pump the lever several times and then release the bleeder. The speedbleeders won't let you pump it up several times between bleeding. Doing the rears is a one man/woman job, as is the right front. I like having a helper pump the lever when I'm bleeding the left front because I'm on the other side of the bike and don't want to spill any fluid on the paint.

it doesnt have to be tightened between pumps to prevent air into the system...however, if you want to tighten it down it will act just like a stock bleeder. For the life of me though I cant figure out why youd want to do that. They work great just by pumping.

I have been unable to locate the Motion Pro product mentioned here. Anyone have a link?

Speedbleeders seem like a better choice, but the flexibility seems better with ProMotion product. I take it that you have the speedbleeders???

yup yup... i bleed frequently...which everyone should do...otherwise you get lots of buildup that can cause your pistons to stick. after i rebuilt my calipers with all new parts, i went with the speedbleeders... ' t

How often should one bleed? Is this track or streetbike?

it's mah street/track bike...i am crazy so i do it like every six months or so...or when i have anxiety attacks...but at least once per year....if based on mileage, i'd do it every other oil change or like 7-10K. i think they motion pro things are pretty cool...just a one way check valve that's all...
