At the risk of sounding squidish, why would you need new bearings and seals? I was thinking of having this done as well, so any additional info would be great!

When u get it powdercoated u have to take out all the bearings and seals which break in the process cause they r the lil needle bearings wit a crappy lip on them and r not easy to get out at all. In fact i have to go to honda to put mine back in...tried hamering the lil ones in but they were starting to bend the lips n i didnt wanna take the chance. Just gotta wait to save up a couple hundo cause i know it aint gonna b cheap, hell they wanted to charge me $120 just to take them out (i laughed then hung up on them). I got mine powdercoated for a lil over $80 including tax in clearwater. Black wit a high gloss finish. Looks pretty damn good.

Thanks for the info. There's this place in AZ that wants to charge me $180 to remove the swingarm and bearings. TRG is charging $85 to do the coating. So, that's $265 for everything. Is that too much????????
