RE: Miles per gallon? - 10/27/2006 7:31:27 PM    NCBirdman   Posts: 44 Joined: 12/3/2005 Status: offline I was getting about 42 mpg @ 70mph, then installed a extended taller touring shield and it dropped to 39-40mph I then installed slip ons and it increased again to about 42/43 mpg. Some guys change the # of teeth on the sprockets (less or more) and that will either help or hurt the mileage. (in reply to ClutchBurningRacing) Post #: 3
