I have a 96 900 rr I would like to swap the tail for a newer one. is there one that will swap out with little or no mods?

in order for proper fitment, you first need the rear seat mounting bracket (the earlier years 93-97 have a higher rear seat) and you need to make new hole locations for the panels to mount correctly. It's a little work but done quite often. It's not a straight swap as it may look. Good luck
