simo...and whoever else agrees with you...yes the rider controls the bike...BUT NOT 100% of the time...so for those who keep emphasizing...RIDER controls the bike...STOP...if that was true, then there would be virtually NO ACCIDENTS

look my point was u can enjoy riding ur bike regardless if its 1000 or 600 or 250 as long as u go with the proper speed u will enjoy riding and u still the one in control of the bike... sure if u go over speed and which i mean seeing ppl going over 120 miles with thier bike .. thats when the bike f***in control u and throw ur ass on the side of the road ..... my bike is 1000 rr and its my first bike ever .. thou i still enjoy it so much and never regret getting the 1000. the only thing that i regreted it was adding turbo to it ( i didnt know what it was for it was the dealer guy who add it )... any how enjoy ur new bike molsen and becarful
good luck

noooooooooooooo...
have you seen low speed high sides coming out of a gas station? a little gravel?
grabbing too much brake in a panic situation? nothing to do with speed, all has to do with experience and how you handle these situations...
you don't have to be going over the speed limit to lose control of the bike...that's where the difference in bike type, size and power PWNS you...

yea the turbo was a bad idea...just take it out mang!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT!!! I love thumb wars!!

Sorry I'm a little late for the fight, but can I still join?

Two guys are buying sportbikes, both have never been on one, one has been riding dirtbikes the other has never.

The rider who rode dirtbikes IS far superior, Period. The other dude doesnt even know how to use a clutch or brakes. But, they both could wipe out on something like a pee sized stone in the road.(similar yet very different)

Oh yeah,

he really did add it and now regrets it!

pee sized stone does nothing for the dirt rider, who just drifts through the turn...but when they get to really perfect asphalt and the rear can't wiggle and drift around and has perfect traction...the dirt rider falls...hahahahahahahah

wow, some thick headed fools on here arent there. I think you understood what I was saying Tahoe, you kinda just rephrased it.

Simo, Simo, Simo. What is your point, first you agree with me as you are bashing me, I dont get it.
Bush-not-master??? WTF is that? very childish post. And yes I pretty much was born with a bike between my legs, maybe not a superbike but I was forced to ride dirt. I still dont get how you can agree than say shut the "hell up".

I never said I was better than anybody, and I'm not gonna drop to your level and argue "I'm better than you".
Even though it's doubtful.

My stock 600RR does that when I ride it hard. I would have thought that with the addition of a turbo, it would have another level of insanity to it. That description sounds a bit tame for a turbocharged bike. I would expect a turbo bike to be described as "being strapped to a cruise missle" or "the missing link between the third and fourth dimentions."

Okay, Im gonna call BS on this one. I did earlier but nobody agrees. I have a fascination with turbocharged bikes, watched many turbo videos, and did my research. Simo you dont even have a bike do ya? Cmon guys back me up on this. listen to this guy:

This is not the description of a turbo on a 1000cc bike!!! and he said earlier the dealer just threw it on without him knowing anything of it. Give me a break. thats a $3,000.00 add on that the dealer just threw on?? I call BS.

Bushmaster, turbos CAN be twitchy. they have a very spiky power band because the turbo has to spin up to make power from spent exhaust. Granted a 1000rr could toss a wheel up at will when down low without a turbo, but not with a turbo. the low end power is non-existent with a turbo.

And i don't know where $3000 came from. I've seen turbos a LOT cheaper than that... still, if the deal to get it out the door included a turbo, then i'd say he did a good job of bargaining.

My first bike was a 600rr - I had never done anything other than sit on my boyfriend's bike trying to look cute. I couldn't have told you where the "gas" was. I bought an RR, took the MSF class, had my boyfriend walk me through how to ride my new bike, stayed at 25mph for pretty much the first month...

And now I'm a couple thousand miles into it, never dropped it, never wrecked, and cruising the highways every chance I get! I won't say I'm never going to drop it or wreck, because even my boyfriend (the street-bikes-since-he-was-13 guy) has done both, but just because I got a 600RR doesn't automatically mean I'm going to drop it, wreck, and die.

The CBR600RR is NOT a beginner's bike. But I got one as my first bike and I'm doing pretty well, I'd say!! People can make their own choices. If someone is a reckless speed demon, they'll kill themselves on any bike you sit them on!

PS - I think dirt bikes are pretty damn tough to ride. I rode his and hated it. I have respect for anyone who rides them!

look bushmaster im not gonna get down to that level cuz i dont realy care if u think i have a bike or not but to let u know when i bought my bike i payed 12250 just for the stock bike and then i gave extra 5500 for all the mod that he said that he is going to do to the bike so i didnt know what he was going to add to the bike if i knew i was going to cancel the turbo ..+ 2500$ on top just for shipping it from usa to suadia arabia where i live ..... so u can see that he ripped me off lot of money
note: that kind of turbo only kicks in once u go over 60 mph...
