Here's my first run with my 1997 CBR600. all I have is an Erion exhaust, and extended swingarm.

1st run
60' 2.453
1/8 9.255
1/4 14.925 @68.18 mph (I let off and didn't know where the finish line was.

2nd run
60' 2.649
1/8 9.176
1/4 13.737 @103.32 mph

3rd run
60' 2.547
1/8 8.818
1/4 13.292 @107.13 mph

4th run
60' 2.538
1/8 8.998
1/4 13.521 @107.68 mph

Keep in mind this is my first time ever running at the track, especially on the bike. I was pretty much just rolling off the line and then going. Once I get my launches down and get those 60' times much lower I should have some respectable times going. Next Tuesday I'll be back launching much harder, and making good use of the swingarm.

Also how do you guys shift? Clutch/No clutch just curious, I was clutching on all the runs but was wondering if I can shift like my dirt bike no clutch up, clutch back down. Just at the track of course.

i just bought a 97 cbr 600f3. and i woke it to the strip the first weekend,

i was running solid 12.3's and 110+mph, my best run for the day was 12.09 at 114mph, but its all in the launch, it takes some practise

don't use the clutch...it may also help you to go GP shift pattern.
