Dont know about you guys around the globe, but here in the UK winter has arrived with avengence. Went out on the bike at 7am from Norwich to Sudbury and the usual loon toons were out, you know the ones, those with blinkers on and wont give way. Anyway, with 30 to 40mph winds meaning that you have got to do some serious leaning, add the rain + vehicle spray = a miserable ride, then sunny in suffolk giving pink vision, so was glad to pull over to a roadside cafe. Once refreashed, the jouney home was a bit more enjoyable, that is until back in Norfolk, and hailstones, what a racket they make, thank god for helmets and good leathers. Anyway, what the weather like where you are? Need to expand my wings to warmer climates.

Don't hate me...

Breezy. Partly sunny with slight chance of showers. Highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

leathers in this weather ( I am from the Uk as well). MAN!! need goretex from top to toe. keeps the rain and wind off. I commute on my CBR600RR. It was cold today. think it was something like 4 degress when I was on my way home plus wind chill. My fingers nearly fell off. When winter sets in people cant drive properly anymore not that they could in the first place. fast lane hoggers that think they are fast. Filter blockers (people that deliberately drift in to make it harder for you to filter) and the rand om other dudes that just do random things.

A lot of you guys are real lucky not needing to worry at all for real cold climate. I would like living in a warm zone like e.g. Australia from September to April. Here we are on the doorstep to winter. A few degrees C below zero and snow in many parts of the country. Where I live, there could still be a few days with up to about +8 degrees C and full sun, so a few trips may still be there, but almost all sport and touring bikers have winter-parked since a couple of weeks. Last year I visited Australia (NSW) and rented a bike for a week, it would be great if such opportunity returns but unfortunately there as no such plans. Shit.

Winter is comming for us here at 7000 feet, 20's in the mornings up to 55-60 durring the day, 2 years ago this time we already had 2 feet of snow, so far so good right now, soon as we get our first decent snow I'll be taken the bike in for some much needed valve adjustments

Here in up-state New York it is getting cold. The trees are dropping leaves and it is raining.
I had the bike out two days ago as did many bikers because it was a very warm day. Yesterday I went for a short ride. It was a little chilly and the tires did not grip well. The snow will come soon. It is time to wax the skis.

Winter came to Denmark yesterday. 3 degrees below freezing point, and snow. So I had to drive home from school in the snow freezing like H... So the bike is put away for the winter, and the only thing left for the next three months is you guy's in this forum... Send us unlucky fellows a lot of warm spring and summer pictures from down below :-)

Just have to sleep for three months now, and spring will be here again...
