you have to remember that the RR was never designed to wheelie....

so yeah will take a bit....

+1...its designed as a racing bike, not a stunt bike...so the front end is supposed to stay on the ground

as for the speedohealer, i won't need it soon as I don't often care what speed i am going

a) u will when u get pulled over cause u got a LEO on ur ass and ur speeding even tho u dont kno  it

b) it will also effect your odometer reading...im not sure, but it might put more miles on ur bike than are actually on it

it will come up in 2nd stock it is just difficult. as it was stated b4 RR were desingned to keep the front wheel on the ground but that does not mean it wont come up! see avatar <---------------

the easiest way to get it up in 2nd stock is staggard, left foot on back peg right foot COVERING REAR BRAKE!!! this may feel akward at first but not only will it come up easier but you will be able to control the bike better.

put it in 2nd and let your RPM's get just below the powerband, put your right foot back and barely lift off the seat. your left knee should be against the side of the tank. pull your clutch in, rev it up (not to high) and as you let it out give it more throttle. as the bike starts to come up stay on the tank and once you get up there you will feel like you are standing straight up and your left leg should be almost straight.(im 5'9")

i hope you have a big lot or abandoned road that you can practice this on so you dont have to try and learn on the streets. looping out w/ cars behind you is never a good thing. good luck and remeber COVER THE REAR BRAKE!
