Please keep us posted or start a new thread when these are available. I am down for that price. What kind of shipping prices will there be and when do you expect them to be out? Also, what other bikes will they be available for?

ok so $79 is semi reasonable but what do you get with the kit? what kind of protective covering covers the cathode and how do they mount and wire? Main reason I ask is ive worked with alot of cathodes and they are fragile as hell.

btw where ya located anyway?

Located in New Orleans,

The cathodes were originally going to mount with the clips we designed for the original rings (which were a little smaller) but the fit of the new rings is so good I think we can silicone the ends directly to the housing.

As for wiring there is an air vent hole right between the 2 cathodes that the wires can be routed out of to the inverter which will sit right under the light away from any water or moisture.

To answer your question about a protective covering we sometimes use a polycorbonate shield around the ring but for this appliction it will not be needed. Once the rings are mounted and the lights are resealed the rings will be safe inside of the housing. The silicone ends will dampen vibrations and shock.

Also, as I mentioned to some of you guys its possible to paint the inside of the headlight housing (the black part) while the light is open installing rings. This will give a custom look to your bike if you color-match the inside housing.

Say bro, I live in Shreveport, LA if you're still lookin for a close bike. Let me know if you want to exchange contacts and meet up. That's some cool lights you got there and i would love a set of blue. My bike is a '06 F4i and still has a lot of stock parts if that's what you're lookin for. Say RojerLockless Let me know If you're ever in town. We can have a bike flossin contest.

umm....so what exactly is the $79 for? Sorry to come off as a prick but honestly...They have no protective covering, meaning its just the cathode ring sized up right......the clips are cheap and the inverter is about $5 if even that for a set of 2 cathodes. (one inverter covers 2 cathodes)....So added up this is still an extreme profit your trying to make.

cathode itself (set of 2) ($6)
inverter ($5)
Clips ($3)

So your telling me these kits cost you a total of $14 in parts, and your selling them for $80? Thats one hell of a markup dont ya think?

www.oznium.com if you want proof to those prices btw.

Im more for customer awareness especially when its just cathodes...Leds may not be as bright but they will last longer and are alot more durable. Be realistic with the price man....

also most cathodes do this

since the cathode is putting out an extreme level of light it discolors the cathodes.
aka

blue = turqouise
red = sometimes red, sometimes it has a pinkish color

are the 2 colors that get hurt the most :( im still looking for a normal blue cathode.

We had to have these rings CUSTOM MADE they are not the $6 tubes you see online for computers. Do you know what it costs to have rings custom made? The straight tubes you see for $6 are massproduced in some Tiwaneese sweat shop by the thousands THATS WHY THEY ARE SO CHEAP!

As for LEDs lasting longer thats just untrue. The CCFL we use for our custom applictions is rated at 50,000 Hours of CONTINUOUS USE. AGAIN theses are not CHEAP crappy CCFL they are rated to last longer than any other on the market.

We are an estabished company, we came here offering our services to you guys, I dont need a lesson on CCFL from you. Other members are interested so go troll on someone elses' thread.

would you be able to post pics of all the colors to deter any doubts on red being pink and blue being terquoise?

We do not have much info up about the F4i kit because, like I said before, we need a test bike. But you can visit our site www.AACstyle.com go to the FLASH version and check out the galleries for some pictures of other applictaions.

Sure, I am not doubting that CHEAP CCFL will do that but ours is BLUE not terquoise!

Oh, also if you want to see blue Halos pick up this month's issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. There is a picture (for the cover story) of me with a set of Blue Halos with Lexus Headlights.

If you could get post some pictures of all the different colors it would be easier for people to decide which they want. I will definitely take a set of red one's, if they are actual red and not pinkish.
