Every bike I have ever owned, I cut/reshape the lic plate bracket.
The 954 seem's like it was designed NOT to be messed with.
Any suggestions without spending $$$??

Ah hell with it, drink a few more beer's and I'll figure it out!!

You can just take the whole thing off and not cut it at all. You will have to remove the blinkers and at bolt in the truck, and you can take it all apart. On the undertail there will still be a little black box, what i did is i mounted my blinkers to it. Looks pretty clean. If i get some time i'll take pics and show you what it looks like.

I ended up taking the whole thing off and made a lic plate bracket..
Put on shorty LED blinkers.
A little crude, but it works..
