Don't forget about supply and demand market conditions. Here in Raleigh, NC, sportbikes are hard to come by. KBB does not mean a thing. Recently I saw a '97 F3 in okay condition go for $3500. I friend of mine just sold his '01 GSXR600 for $6000 (KBB $4500). I guess alot depend on that. I sold my '98 FZR600 last summer for $800 more than what I paid for it 2 years earlier. It's a crazy market here.

It's an absolutely crazy bike market here. There are probably as many sportbikes on the road as there are cruisers.

I got my '99 F4 Yellow and black, 37500 miles on it for 3700, clean title and minor front fairing scratches from a parked tip over. I tipped it over and fractured my right ankle when I went to look at it. My ankle is still flucked up! I got somea paintball size broken blood vessles on my right az bone

Where are you located? I am in Gainesville, Fl and there is a 99 F4 for 3200 with 18k, chick owns it, went and saw it, says it scares the sh!t out of her, clear title as well. That is the cheapest one I have found especially clear title and only a few scuffs, nothing major at all. I thought about buying it and reselling it to make a grand.

I just bought mine this season in the DC market (also very crazy) off of craigslist and got it for 3600. It has 7k miles, is all stock, and had been parking lot tipped, so a few minor scratches on the right side. I feel as if i got an amazing deal, though.
