Looks like fiberglass, just a cloth and epoxy.  That would be pretty sweet!

Has anyone used this. I have seen it for years (love me somw harbor freight.) Anyhow just wondering. By the way finally got the bike inspected and tagged. She sat for years before I got her. Waiting for petcock. By the way whoever recommended hondaparts direct  ( http://hondapartsdirect.reachlocal.net/default.asp  ) Thank you, Thank you, saw it in another thred and saved $20. They are much cheaper than my former favorite. Woohoo street legal just in time for winter. Still very rideable in Texas.

The "Bumper Repair Kit" that I introduced above is working great. Different from other epoxy fillings, this one is still flexible after completely hardened. I applied fiber cloth and this for the top cowring's separated parts. I am thinking send the parts (top and the both side cowring) to pait shop and paint in the original color. Does someone know where the original "1000" decals can be obtained?
