0 mph. Had a lady (on a cell phone) backed into me at a stop light. I had my horn blazing for at least 5 seconds and had enough time to yell out "Oh Shit, STOP!" She kept going and hit my front tire, scared the shit out of me, and I fell over. Now in super-pissed mode, I got up and walked up to her window to see that SHE WAS LAUGHING!!!!!! (you know that "oh shit, I can't believe how retarded I am" type of laugh)................so...........I lost it. I opened her door, grabbed her cell phone (which she was still talking on) and threw it to the ground as hard as possible. It obliterated on impact (and it was an expensive PDA phone too.) I walked back to my bike, and by now, a couple of guys who saw it happen helped me pick my bike back up. Broken left turnsignal, broken left mirror, buckled frame slider (thank God it worked!).......then the police arrived a few moments later...... ...........this is where it gets really good............. The first thing the bitch does is go up to the police officer and starts ranting about how I destroyed her phone. Police officer tells her to calm down and we went through the story and blah blah blah. Anyway, the officer finally asked the two guys who destroyed the phone. THEY SAID THE GIRL DROPPED IT WHILE GETTING OUT OF HER CAR!!!!! Oh, yeah! How could this get any better? Well...........The girl went freaking balistic and freaked out. Started cursing at the cop, when he showed no sympathy, she came after me with arms swinging. Cop stepped in, slapped on the handcuffs and put her in the back seat of his car! I just stood there stunned and couldn't believe what just happened. The cop asked me if I wanted to press charges, and I said no. (she already got what she deserved, plus a careless driving ticket, $500 dollar fine for causing the accident, embarassment of being thrown in handcuffs, and her knowing that I got away with shattering her phone. One small incident, and the laugh that started a landslide. Do I regret smashing her phone? A little. Do I regret completely ruining her day? Maybe. Do I regret teaching a retarded cell phone driver a lesson? NEVER.

I have been in two wreckes where the other driver rearended me while talking on the phone. I now have perminent back damage that according two both my doctors, will only get worse as I get older. I get so mad when I see people not paying attention to the road. I think there should be a "smash law" where any person can walk up to a driver who is on the phone, rip it out of there hands, and smash it on the ground. ( at stop lights of course ) I bet a few people would stop talking while driving.

+1 about the cell phone lady, that's awesome! If I need to talk to someone while I'm out, or get a phone call, I usually pull over in the first parking lot I can find. I see people yakking away all the damn time while driving...what can be so important? Anyway, my accident (as most of you already read about several months ago): I highsided coming around an easy left hand sweeper at the crest of a hill at about 70 mph. I hit a big mess of loose pea sized gravel that I didn't see until the last minute as I was looking through the turn. At this point I couldn't avoid it, so I hoped for the best and went through it. I knew I was hosed. Back end swung out to the right and it caught traction sideways and highsided. When I got thrown, my guess is I was going about 60 mph since the sliding sideways probably slowed me down a little. I ended up flying and then tumbling down a hill head first, for which seemed like an eternity, and I hoped I wasn't about to hit anything solid and also really really hoped the bike wouldn't land on me. I was stopped by a barb wire fence that cut into the back of my neck (nice scar). Lots and lots of bruising, 2 broken ribs (1 front, 1 back), the scar, and soreness for about a week to the point where I hardly got out of bed much...except to deliver the bike via trailer to the dealer. No road rash or anything like that. Had on full armored gear (jacket, pants) back protector, boots, gloves, helmet. The only thing that survived were my boots. Bike got totaled. Funny thing is the right side was completely untouched. It flipped, who knows how many times, but it landed on the other side of the fence, without ever touching the fence, about 20 feet from where I finally stopped tumbling. Front, top, gas tank, rear and left side were beat to hell. There is a missing left frame slider still out there somewhere...

If it were me I would've probably punched her in the face after seeing the phone, still on the phone, and the laugh. GEEZ. Of course, state law makers are too moronic to realize that banning phone usage while driving is a good thing. Texas...obviously this state is full of idiots so this won't be happening anytime soon. Reality checks...ride safe!

Even thou blue fox taught her a very good lesson and one she won't forget for some time..A gentle reminder to riders out there that there is a thin redline between teaching those moronic drivers a good one and becoming a road bully. We bikers, don't want to be labelled road bullies.

We bikers, don't want to be labelled road bullies. I agree. Usually, I'm not the kind of guy to do this sort of thing (nor do I recommend it), but the laugh and the lack of remorse on the driver's behalf pushed me over the edge, and she got exactly what she deserved. If she would have applogized or even acted like she was in the least bit sorry, I would have calmed down. But the laugh and the "hee hee hee, that sucks for you" attitude she pulled out her behind was FAR too much or anyone to handle. But at the same time, I would rather have someone afraid of me (to a slight degree) than think they can get away with running me off the road with no consequences. But it all comes down to the situation and the driver involved. Most people applologize, the ones that don't give a damn are the ones that'll feel (and I do mean feel) my wrath. lol.

Well my worst was all my fault. I stood it up, alittle to far, put it back down and the front wheel went crazy. It was going from side to side so hard it was throwing the back of the bike. Needless to say I couldnt handle it and it threw me off. I had a jacket on still ended up with minor scrapes, a broken collarbone, and a K.O. The bike ended up with alot of cosmetic damage, broken handle bar, and severed a coil wire.

Yeah..I flipped my blade too once. but the damage done is not too bad..till now I still have the phobia of bringing the front up again. but once in a while I do try to face my fear..but not too high and far thou!
