Just bought a 2000 F4. Vance and Hines Titanium S4 slip on, K&N filter, fender eliminator kit, a bit of custom rash and cracks.

Only been able to ride it for about 40 miles, but i'm already in love with it. So much different than what i'm used to riding (85 nighthawk 450, 73 suzuki water buffalo, 01 shadow 600, etc.)

Give me some ideas as to fairly cheap mods that will help dress up the bike and set it apart from the others.

Thanks, and looks like a great forum, with lots of great info.

Jonesy

sweet bike man. also check out CBRworld.net

as far as cheap mods... thats kinda subjective. you could get a new seat cover to hide the banana seat look. or i was able to do an F4i tail conversion for around 400 if thats considered cheap. that includes new seat covers too and an undertail with LED's

Nice bike! Welcome to the world of CBR's!

Some cheap mods that look nice are:
Flush Mounts (Turn signals)
Carbon Fiber Bar Ends & Levers (Clutch and Brake)
Aftermarket Windscreen
Carbon Fiber or other Belt Guard

Just a few ideas that change the look tremendiously and aren't very pricey!

I've been looking at the LED tail lights with the integrated turn signals. Any ideas as to the best/cheapest place to get these? Also to i want the 30, 50 or 100 filament style?

Thanks

one the best mods you can do for this bike is do the f4i tail section swap. buy a f4i subframe and tail section and swap out that ugly banana seat. other than that nice bike
