Just as much hp with about 12ft-lbs of torque more and weighs about same as a ZX-10R. That thing better have traction control cause it smells like a highside special. I can't wait for the R to come out. I'll take 2 please.

The $14K model DOES NOT have any Ohlins or any other race ready parts. They're also making 2 other models, one is like $17K the other like $20K, the $20K model does have the Ohlins products (damper, suspension, etc.), it is indeed a badass bike, but being that Duc pulled out of AMA, I'm like", If their bikes can't compete against the Japanese bikes, and they pulled out of AMA...is this thing going to perform?", Happy to see they brought back a sweet ass looking single sided swingarm, nice rims...

The  1098 is going to be bad ass, I can't wait to see how it fairs against the inline 1ks. I am skeptical about it being faster in a straight line, but I could be wrong.

They are still in WSB check what Bayliss set the fastest laps during testing on. Second they pulled out of AMA because of them not being able to compete. They are revamping that team and said they would be back in 08. MV Agusta is coming to play this year. So we still get one itailian to run in the fleet. Ducati is potentioning to the WSB and AMA to allow the 1098 because the V-Twins are down on power...I guess at that level they feel they are down on power. I hope to see them back in AMA. I think we all need to see triumph come play with the other 600's every one is nutting there pants on this thing. I dont think its so hot myself and I believe it would do anyhting but triumph in the sereies. but I could be wrong lets see them try to prove me wrong
