I think I got a pretty good deal, I paid $2800 for a 97' F3 w/12k miles on it. Never dropped, already has zero gravity wind screen, and a corbin seat. Only thing it needs is a new tire. bike looks like it rolled off the lot yesterday. Sorry if it sounds like I am boasting I am just way to excited to not let it out a little.

I love it, rides great, just too bad its winter time. I wasn't so excited about the aftermarket taillight, but it grew on me. I think I am getting over that. I only rode it twice, once home and once to storage so I am just torturing myself, by finally having a bike and not riding it for another few months. They just salted on monday so I think it is going to stay in storage. Sunday night I brought it home, it was 5 degrees outside. Pretty much the coldest thing I have ever done, but well worth it and still fun.

Nice bike. Lets go for a ride when it gets warm out up here. Sucks to be winter. I only got a couple of rides on my new one before the cold so I feel for ya on the feeling of excitement. Good luck, see you in the spring.

Hell ya, lets ride in the spring. Were actually from Minnesota not colorado, the land of bitter ass cold an no snow anymore. Winter wouldn't be so bad if I could bust out my sled, but there hasn't been decent snow in a couple of years now. Still cold as hell though, definatley doesn't meet the requirement of above 35 degrees right now, not even close.

Kyle,
5 degrees? Brutal. Passion for your new bike must have carried you through.
I rode 25 miles when it was about 35 degrees. Had leather jacket but not leather pants. Ride was on a '79 RD(no fairings) and by the time I got home my legs and knees were so cold I could hardly get off the bike. My hat is off to you!
Wish you an early spring and some freakish warm winter days for some pre spring rides.

Very nice bike.

Jon

I did get out, I worked till 2 and then headed straight for grandma's to pull the bike out of storage. I love the bike (so much better with decent weather). Yesterday was the first time I have ever found myself on an open stretch of road to let her loose a little bit. I have driven some pretty fast cars and nothing compares to how a bike pulls and keeps on pulling, makes me all gitty inside. Hands down the best money I have ever spent.

5 degrees very brutal. I bundled up in my snowmobiling gear, but didn't have any proper gloves for riding a bike, so the ones I used had very little protection, when I got home I couldn't hardly bend my fingers thank god it was only 20 mins away. No frostbite and I warmed up eventually, so I can't complain.

Yup, it's hard to beat a good bike. If it gets nice out again, we'll have to go for a ride. Where are you located? Im in Plymouth for the time being, probably be in Shakopee in the coming months. Is this your first bike I foget? Must be. You'll have to get a few more miles under your belt and take my GSX-R for a spin. That'll tug your shorts. Take it easy. See you when it gets warm.
