after hornet time for upgrade - I was thinking of F3 or F4. As far as I know F4 got new engine (with the same cam tensioner problem) few ponds more and is lighter around 17 kg. So rather not F3 (if I am wrong - please correct me) . So F4 - but again problem - which one injected or with carburators? which one are better?economicly , relibility, usebility etc.?

What's up. I have a '99 F4 & I love it! The F4 is carburated, the F4i (2001 and up) is fuel injected. I looked at both when buying, one needed the carbs rebuilt and one had a "fuel injection light?" that wouldn't go off. I don't know how much $ it costs to replace the injectors or get the injectors, but the rebuilding the carbs (done by a shop) was a couple of hundred & with experience most people can do that themselves. Good luck on your search!

F4 is going to be cheaper and in the long term easier to maintain... I'm biased. A newer F4i will be an awesome bike too.

I would get the F4i just to be closer to the most current generation of bikes. Fuel injection was supposed to be da shiznitz when it came out, but now it just seems to be the standard for any new bike to be taken seriously. I actually prefer the smooth throttle response of a correctly jetted carburated bike to the OFF-ON throttle abruptness I experience with my F4i and 1000rr.
