im trying to do some winter projects, can somebody tell me the difference between
swingarm spools and spool swingarm sliders? I'd like use a rear stand to work on the bike and have the added benefit of minimizing damage to swingarm if the bike goes down. i have cut frame sliders and a pair of shogun swingarm spools would be great (or delrin) but then i saw in another category "spool sliders" (which look the same)?

regular spools will do a good enough job. there's no need to get specialized ones.

spool sliders are usually just regular spools with a much larger puck on them made of delrin, the wider base keeps it from bending as easily as a normal one
if you crash its very possible a regular spool will break off or bend, which isn't a big deal on a streetbike but on a trackbike with no kickstand, not loosing a spool can be VERY important
