I think it is smokin' hot, but I have a second perspective as well. I thought riding was so much fun that I had my wife get a bike. I see it as one of the best times a couple can share. Of course there are plnety of times when I will just want to be with the guys, but there are many times when I would rather be with her on a ride.

I like chics (girls, women, babes whatever) on bikes. If they know what they are doing and aren't butchy and only interested in HD's, then it's even better. But I guess this would apply to Jeeps or sports or anything else predominately in a man's domain. I would love to see more chics ride, especially sport bikes, and be able to see them out on the road. For me it's cool to see a chic that isn't afraid to branch out and try something like this. More power to them all.

We should welcome everyone who shares our passion and interest in the sport. Sure, woman on Sportbikes (Not Harleys), look attrative, however it shouldn't stop there. They should be have plenty of experience, knowledge, and passion toward the sport.

Woman, men what ever. Were all out there to have fun regardless of gender. I personally prefer following the woman on bikes (sorry, I said it). Provides a nice view and gives ya reason to get from A to B to C. Nah, but seriously its all good. I would be willing to bet that your bf would probably not prefer to see you do it (out of fear that you may get injuried someday). If the man loves ya, it will come with the territory, I promise (gotta work thru it). Good luck to ya. SIDE NOTE: Are you near Summit @ WVA? (If so, I'm already jealous). n8

girl+bike=super hot!!!. im dating a chick that has an 06' 600rr and a fiddy w/ 12 bar and all. she worked 3 jobs for two years just to get a bike and bought her CBR w/ cash. she rides all the time and maintains her bikes better than i maintain mine. she is one of the few female riders i have met that is actually into motorcylces not just into getting attention. when we are at the lot she throws it down on her fiddy better than some of the guys that are out there. she is also not affraid of crashing and often laughs when she does. did i mention she loves 2up stunting as well? this chick is hardcore on the outside but sweet and sensitive on the inside and there are more girls out there just like her. (i.e. some of her friends) here is a link to a pic of her and her bike. http://www.stunttexas.com/pictures/paige.jpg As for the chicks that know nothing about bikes or how to ride them, i give them respect for even trying. as long as they are riding for the right reasons then more power to them. no one should ride just to look cool or get attention male or female. bikes are serious and if you dont treat them that way they will bite you in the a$$.

ORIGINAL: Dave K I really don't think anything of it, unless she is a "poser". You know, one that wants to be seen and is riding for that reason. If they are riding because they like to ride, that is great. As great as a guy who likes to ride. ......... I hate posers. For example, I have a friend that's a chick, and she and I talked over two yrs ago about learning to ride. She and I bought our bikes at the same time, and she's just not into it. She'll ride if only her bf takes her bike out for her and gets it ready. She's still afraid of wind, of traffic, of everything. No interest in really riding. No interest in reading literature about riding and being safe. Up until recently, she wouldn't even wear more than a helmet. Now I ride alone, and have since I bought my first bike, hell, I don't care. I maintain my bike. I clean it all the time, and work on it- otherwise, how else would one get to know the bike inside and out? She thinks I'm nuts, but you know what? I ride without her now. I can't take it. Oh yeah, and she even had her bike painted pink. I told her to just sell it already... With her, it's a status thing and she likes the attention. Me? It's distracting. rant over.
