we used to ride with a gorgeous blonde who could ride her lil ass off, its just hard to ride behind her, cause when she goes to slide off the seat her thong would show...

Wow, surprised to see any neg. opinions here. I thought the responses to this question would be the usual "that's so hot" that I seem to see in every other forum...
I think a rider is a rider... No matter how much someone can be considered a "poser" I'd still stop and help any rider in need. I just feel bad that some people look for riding as a validation of their image and not as the incredibly satisfying money sucking addiction that seems to consume 99.9% of my free time... heheheh.

But yeah chick riders - hot

Honestly, I think a girl who spends 4 grand on tasteful tattoos would be infinitely sexier that one that spends 4 grand on a motorcycle.

I've got no real negative energy towards girls that ride but I dont associate it with being sexy. I think I got it from skateboarding. Almost everytime I see girls skating they turn out to be really ugly. So even the hot ones just got a negative association. I just see this as more of a dudes thing.

Its like the guys were saying, anyone who shares the same pursuits and intrests as we do is allright in my book. The only time I have ever been truly horrified of a girl on a bike was this last summer. I am not sure what kind of bike it was, but you couldnt see it. I promise the guy driving had to be at least three-fity, and she wasnt much less herself. I swear I could hear the bike screaming in agony as it tried to pull 700lbs + down the road.

She's right, the woman riding scene is growing at a very fast pace. 30% of the gear my shop sells is for women sport riders. The rest is men and youth gear, but you got to figure if pedrosa's ass can handle a motogp bike I'm sure a girl could handle a 600cc or 1000cc bike with ease as long as they respect its power, which they all seem to do more than most the guys do.

Of the girls I've seen riding, most of them are at least one of the following:

1.) are lesbian
2.) do it as a statement ie; like joining the military, playing HS football/wrestling, or make a big stink about it and make it known to all that they are a girl who rides
3.) attention whore, kind of like above statement
4.) do it to fit in with the boys
5.) never ever ride alone, only in groups of other M/F riders
6.) are again, lesbians

There, I said it all...shame on me.

There are a small percentage that aren't any of the above, but this is usually who I see.

I ride with a big grp weekly. We have atleast 20 girls. My mindset is    if you can ride without hurting others and some dignity then your cool to ride by me.wether your a man or woman.

I do think women get screwed on the gear choices factor. Not much out there as in options
