hey man i wouldnt ride with no side fairings long cause the only thing holding the upper is the mirror mounts. the plastic will flex and possible crack if you hit a big bump.. next time or if they are still off go and wiggle the upper around and you will see how flimsy it is compared to when the fairings are on...
