if u cant wheelie the 954 then u need not try 2 wheelie period. the only bad thing bout the 900, 929, and 954 is the front fairing is trash they are so brittle and the tabs break if u come down to hard. mike i blew my fork seals becuz of some of those hard landings, u need to save a lil rpms so that u can let the wheelie down then catch it so it comes down smooth. if u blow ur fork seals after a few wheelies ur most likely ****in ur front fairing up too and ur comin down entirly to hard which is almost impossible.

i have to say that one of the reasons i bought my bike is the wheelie balance points...i never had any problems with mine and think it is probly the easiest bike to wheelie on....

never ridden a 954 before...i own a 929, i have ridden 1000RR...all i can say is my 929 is easy to wheelie than a my friend's1000RR.. if you ask this question on 929 forum,,im sure 929 riders will say that 929s are better to wheelie..its just a personally thing. you should test ride both bikes to see which one is the best for you..
hey Joey did you wheelie at 193mph? im sure he can pull one up...

Fork Seals: I blew mine once ... they should last now for a while but still learn to come down softer. just give it gas as your coming down and ease into it. Practice always helps
fork seals can take alot of abuse
