Hey everyone,

I own a CBR 600 F3 that i have recently nuked the motor on. I plan on tearing it apart and rebuilding it so i figure while i am in there why not add a little more power. So i am looking for names of companies and manufactures who sell after market parts for CBR 600 F3 such as larger cylinder heads preferably 700cc, and stuff of that nature. If anybody knows any companies or businesses that make those kind of products please send me the information.

Make sure if you add more power (or not) to check the transmisson, and have the gears undercut to handle the extra power

if your going to bore it out that much you are going to have overheating issues cause of the thinner cylinder walls its not a good idea to bore these motors a hundred over the most if im not mistaken is 40 over without comprimising heat dissapation. besides if you jsut want more torque the easiest way is to go down 2 in the front and maybe 3 up in the back or so on to get the right gearing for you.

What!!! Yes buying a faster bike will solve you power problems but it gona cost you a lot more than boreing and a new set of pistons and gaskets. "Wiseco" makes a 637cc kit, witch is what I used, but it is 13-1 compresstion so you must use the highest octane you can get(94?) + booster. I think it cost me about $1000.00 Can. for that part of the bike and she really goes! They probably make a lower comp.

have seen a cbr 6 fitted with 900rr pistons in a uk mag performance bikes, think fitted straight in with little mods eg gasket etc. took it to 695 cc. also could fit 900rr engine. or just buy bigger bike.

i believe you could find a 900rr motor and swap it in there. Do they make a stroker kit or anything for the F3? I think i saw someone posting something about that once
