True, it wont rust. Also you don't have to clean them with the metal polish every time. You can clean them the same way you clean your bike. I use the cleaner sold at the Honda dealership. Just use the polish every once in a while, unless you just want to polish them every time.

SIRR1 how hard was it to polish the inside portion, I thought about doing this but it looked like a pain in the ass? any way both rims are done now can i be a member of the polished rim club PLEASE!! lol Ripper Thumbnail Image

Well SIRR1 i think i'll pass on going all the way with mine i thought it would be hard but damn that seems like alot of work!! any way good luck also if you have'nt tried these they work great.... it's a polishing compound stick made by MIBRO #6 high gloss polishing compound I got mine at lowes, works awesome, just apply compound to a 4 inch buffing wheel for your drill ( preferably one with a cord to avoid battery drain) with the drill running apply untill wheel changes color then apply to rim finished product is beautiful. If you want the polish but don't want to do it.... Send a tape to Dirty Jobs and Mike Rowe can come and do it for you ;) Just get a couple of your friends bikes, and make a sign so it looks like its a shop that does it. Then you can sit back and watch Mike polish all the bikes
