The cable is stuck, I took everythign off and got to the carb I can see the connecting point, Any idea whats goin on? do the lines freeze up or something?

its stuck closed

May have to replace that little bastard! Mine did the same, so I replaced it and tore the old one apart just for giggles to find a kink in the choke cable.

NO, mine wouldnt budge. Tried spraying lubricant down the casing of the cable befor i tore it apart but it didnt help. I dont know how it got kinked but about halfway down the cable it had a pretty good kink.

it is not uncommon for cables to sieze, and the only real remedy is to replace it

ordered a motion pro replacement today
took old one off and took ti apart
it looks like it got really hot and melted the plastic to it so it was seized

My '94 has the same problem...Took it off & rigged the cable so I can choke it. What does a new cable cost??
