I know, I've read a post on here about how fast our bikes are compared to cars, but I'm going to make a new post for the hell of it...Just how fast are our bikes compared to Exotic's(Lambo's, Ferrari's, etc.), from take off, to screamin' down the highway? Obviouslly, they'd take us on top end, but how long could we hang with em'? If anybody has a good story about racing Exotic's, etc., tell us about it.

the 600RR could whoop up on 90% of the exotic car community in the 1/4 mile.

Yeah, I kind of figured that it'd spank em through the 1/4, but how much longer could we hang with them?

not very much longer. at the end of the 1/4, they start to surpass our thrust by leaps and bounds. we'd win the drag, but at the end their comin' up pretty damn fast.

You'd stay with them til' you top out at 16? + mph.  We had a lamborghini try to get us all to race before but we never went after it.

I smoked an Enzo a month or so ago.  We were both stopped at the lights and I figured I'd give it a shot.  When the lights turned green I revved it, but rolled off slowly to see if he'd bite (and to give him a chance).  He started to gas it and so I opened it up.  I pulled away entirely in first, and by the time I threw it in second his headlights were already fading out in my mirrors.  No contest in the sprints or twisties, but if it was a longer stretch they'd eventually get us.

Yep. You'll own up to about 150-160, then the exotics will usually take over from there. Be aware that some exotic cars can take on the twisties VERY well. Put me in an exotic and I'll keep right up. (okay, maybe not Rossi or Hayden) but me in an exotic against about 98% of sportbike riders....I'll win. I didn't go to Skip Barber for nothing.

you would deff have better accel...and would kick but until you topped out...but the exotic's top end would beat u after a while

and dont underestimate those cars in the twisties...remember, they have twice the number of tires, and at least twice the traction(as the tires are prob wider)...also, some of them(porshes) have all wheel drive...so thats four times the number of power wheels...plus they can brake and turn at the same time...dont have to worry about lean angle, moving their butt around on the seat...riding position...etc

Generally once cars get over 500 hp, they can hang with 600 bikes.  Over 800 will hang with 1000 bikes.  But it really depends on the weight of the exotic cars since most are a lot lighter then your average mustang or camero.  Enzo has a carbon fiber chassis and weighs almost nothing compared to mass market sport cars.

A good example is the Atom.  It may only have 300 rwhp, but the thing weighs nothing and can surpass the 600RR in the curves and hang with the bike during the straights.

We have had this topic before and i proved that there is no PRODUCTION car in the world that can take a STOCK 600 in the 1/4mile.
