Changing your own tires?

How many of you do this and what equipment have you bought? Is all you need  a set of spoons? How big of a pain in the ass is it? I remember years ago making a go of it with my motocrosser. I got pissed off after an 1/2 hour and took it to the shop.

you will need at least 2 spoons, a bead breaker, something to protect the lip while removing tire, spray bottle with soapy water, a balancer, wheel weights, rear stand, front stand

i bought the standard kit from this site

u can also use a flat tip scewdriver instead of spoons.also the local deal just charges 10 buck to spin balance both tires if u take the rim down there so no need for a balancer or wieghts

take the rims off the bike, bring the rims and new tires, in 20 bucks it's mounted and balanced and u dont have to screw around with spoons... and screwdriverrs.. for 10-20 bucks saving..
