backflips are easy.. i should have been more specific, easiest stunt on a motorcycle

stuntn_r6 -> RE: easiest stunt (1/16/2007 5:18:45 PM)

haha, anyway....if you dont want to hurt your bike, DONT STUNT.  Plain and simple.

I decided i wanted to stunt, so I sold my mint 03' Limited Edition R6 and bought a F4i that had been scratched up a little bit...now i dont care, and im starting to get somewhat good.

The first things I did were the simple stuff just riding around, changing positions  ie sitting on the tank, sideways in the seat, tank, etc etc.  then i started sketching off the side, moved to small clutch ups in first gear while sitting, now im trying stand ups in second.  Im not very good at any of the above mentioned stuff, but first gear sitdowns are pretty easy to get up.  I just suck at carryin em out.

Err -> RE: easiest stunt (1/17/2007 10:02:59 AM)

i didnt' mean like that.  just telling you how to correct it.

all8280bcc -> RE: easiest stunt (1/17/2007 5:34:50 PM)

Yea dude just stay in the throttle thats all there is to it. I just started learning wheelies a month ago powering up in first and they are going pretty far now. Gettin ready to start clutchin soon to.

velocity -> RE: easiest stunt (1/17/2007 5:57:09 PM)

The easiest stunt for me is falling off my bike [sm=smiley36.gif]  The hard part is making sure not to let the bike land on you.  I would think that the wheelie would be one of the easiest since it is the base for so many other moves.  I would say riding in a highchair position is pretty easy as well if you would even call that a stunt, and not a different riding position.

BlindLOKI -> RE: easiest stunt (1/18/2007 9:20:48 AM)

I wasnt trying to be an ass, just state that i have no throttle control... its not slowly petering out, its either i let off to much to keep it from looping or i dont give it quite enough.  Ill get it figured out eventually... just hard to practice when its 0 degrees out and ice on the roads  :)

dont mean to hi-jack, but would a new air filter help smooth throttle control out if your old one was pretty dirty?

stuntn_r6 -> RE: easiest stunt (1/18/2007 11:30:59 AM)

the only thing thats gonna smooth out your throttle control is practice...

BlindLOKI -> RE: easiest stunt (1/19/2007 8:55:43 AM)

[8D]   I know theres a lot of things that will smooth power delivery though, thats gotta help in some way or form...  my bike is geared, so im sure its toucher than if i had stock sprockets on it, for instance

either way, i know practice is the number 1 factor, but as stated above, its friggin cold and icy.   was just askin cause I havnt been able to play yet since i replaced my extremely dirty filter
