Hey forum. I am considering purchasing a new slip on for my F2. I was thinking Vance and Hines, probibly something like this. http://www.motorcyclemart.com/exhausts/vance&hines/vhss2rslip.jpg are there any other models that are better? thanks.

You will find very little choices for a bike of that age...the Vance and Hines pipes are good, I have had a few on a few different bikes myself..but there are only a few companies that even offer stuff for this bike any more

The SS2R is a nice sounding pipe, Kerker's are good too, but I'v found best bang for your buck will be a Hindle. Cheaper that SS2R, sounds awesome, comes in mutiple cans, slip ons or full systems.

I've got a Two Brothers full system on my F2. I bought it back in either '96 or '97 so your chances of finding something comparable now are questionable. It sounds good--reasonably quiet if I keep the revs down but it screams up top. I even paid only $450 for the full system. The header has accumulated some surface rust but that's not too terribly surprising almost 10 years later.

If money is no object i recommend a Yoshimira RS3 Exhaust....good tone, great power increase over stock..but pricey, AND still Available for our late model bikes Approx 300 bucks from Dennis Kirk
