Did you recently change your oil&filter? I did so this saturday, I rode it for about 120 km. The next time Istarted it, this wednesday, it was a bit cold outside (about 10-12 degrees Celsius) and at the cold start it didn't make any noise at all, except all the normal. After 15 km, I stopped for a cigarette and when I started it again, it made this clunking noise for about 20 seconds. I guess that when it was very cold, the oil was thick enough to make pressure immediately, but when it warmed, it was not. I didn't say that the oil I have now inside is Motul Synthetic 10W40. I couldn't say what oil was before, as it was the oil I have bought the bike with (that's the reason I changed it), but I suspect it was a bit thicker because yesterday was the first time I heard that noise.
