Blood will look like that after a while because it absorbs o2 oxygen rich blood is bright red. but if he hit the pole fast enough to cut him in half, the body would have tumbled down the street causing scrapes and cuts on the arms and legs also the neck was cut like it had been opened like they do on the morgue my guess. It's one of those bodies they donate to science put to "other" use

This reply strikes me as really ignorant and funny...you haven't looked closely at the pictures yet...have you, or you have a really low quality monitor 
Arterial blood is vivid red...like Ferrari red...trust me...I've seen a lot of it.

I don't think it's fake (Why would they go to all of the trouble to make his legs like all rashed up and not do his arms, or forget a huge detail like the "morgue cuts" on his neck?), but does anyone know what the marks on his neck could be? Or how he managed to not skin his elbows?

You missed the reply where I did the anatomical description of his injuries aye?
He does have some abrasions on his forearms, but when you bleed out the wounds don't seep blood like a living person's does...they're there, but they're still flesh colored. The upper torso could have landed face up (supine) and slid on it's back, so all the trauma could be facing the ground...N8 Dawg, don't you think the back of the shirt is a bit saturated with blood...not to mention it's a dark colored shirt and won't show the blood as well.
The bruising on his neck is more than likely from the force of his helmet being flung off his head...you can see a blue object in several of the pictures which appear to be a helmet.
All these are things our fire fighter friend overlooked...
