I know some of you have had good luck with mxd. This is my experience.

Dec 4. - I place order for a set of street cages for my F4i. The cages come in and one side doesn't fit, its off about a 1/2 in.,  and ALL of the nuts/bolts sent were either the wrong size, type, or thread style. I follow the instructions and cut a hole in my fairing before I knew one didn't fit. I then realize everything is wrong as I go to bolt one up and I'm pissed so I contact him and tell him the cages are coming back and I want my money back. He says that he is "a one man fabricator and spends money as he gets it" so I can't get my money....so he agrees to send me new cages/correct hardware. I have no intentions of using these cages as I have already installed Woodcraft Sliders a week or so ago...like last week, not in december... and one is in the wrong spot because of the cage hole, but still looks fine.

Jan 2. - I'm told that the new stuff is ready and is being shipped.

Jan17. - I contact him asking where the cages are.

5 minutes ago - I finally get a tracking number and they're due to come in on the 22nd...even if I get them thats not the point of my thread. When you order something you should feel confident that the sender is giving you the correct product. These will not go on my bike. I will open them to make sure everything is there then they go to ebay or someone on here can buy them from me a lot cheaper than what I paid and not go through the bullshit that I did. Just wanted to let you guys know just in case you deal with him. I know I never will again.

I wish I had found this post before I ordered from MXD.  I too ordered a street cage from Jeff.   He said it was in the mail and still no cage.  We had good comms before I put in my order.  Once my credit card was charged, he stopped answering my emails.

Don't go with MXD Cage.  I'm out some money.

Anyone have their phone number and address.  I plan on making a visit...SERIOUSLY...

Anyone have MXD's contact info, mainly their address???  I have their phone number and website address.  I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I hope MXD will be at next weeks Bike Show in Long Beach...It's going down...

MXD isn't a site sponsor are they? If so, contact Admin to get them kicked off the site.

Yea, I'm not totally knocking the cage.  It's ok, I guess as I haven't dropped my bike to test it out.  But as far as customer service, it's been my worst experience.  Dude was cool in answering all my questions, but as soon as I sent him the payment, he never responded back.  Took me awhile, but I finally got his phone number and even after 100's of text messages and just about as many calls, he never responded.  MONTHS later, I finally got the cage.
