To the original poster....do a google...you'll find plenty of outlets that'll chrome your wheels with good turnaround time. You can go with the wheel exchange on Ebay, but I'd find a local shop that'll do the work. Got mine done for $500 a set (took two weeks) and it hasn't hindered my ability to drag knee on the street, but I don't canyon carve on a daily basis, so I can't help you there. I've seen guys canyon carve with chrome wheels and it didn't affect their riding ability a hair. It's all about the rider and chrome wheels don't make "that" much of a difference unless youre name is Hayden or Rossi and you're on a track. I don't think anyone on this board can even ride that seriously, so don't even sweat the small stuff. Do what you want to YOUR bike....the hell with what anyone else says.

One more thing....if you don't want chrome, there are paints on the market that give you a chrome look (ChromeFX by Alsa Corp) without the chrome "feel." Good luck.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. The only reason I wanted chrome wheels was for looks. I am not out stuntin to hard and I don't take curves at 120mph. I just like to get out and ride. Alot of my ridin is on highways and interstate anyway. And as for polishing wheels,that is a pain in the ass. I like just using soap and water to make chrome shine than having to scrub on 2 wheels for a hour to make polish wheels not even shine as good as chrome. But thanks for all the info.
