I know this has been asked before but this is a slight variation. For a 93 cbr900, will a 95-98 f3 front wheel fit? Which rotors will I need, and will I need different spacers? Does the 900 axle fit in the f3 wheel, or does the f3 axle fit in the 900 forks, or will I need a custom axle. I realize I might lose my speedometer, but other that that, are there any major issues with this swap? I've read all the old post regarding this, but none seem to really discuss the 93-95 900. Thanks in advance for any help.

This topic gets beat to death and I've yet to see a straight answer.
I have NOT done the swap, but did all the measurements off of a friends F3 while next to my bike and according to my tape measure, it consisted of using the F3 WHEEL, and everything else off of the 900RR.  That was for my 99.  I've heard it doesnt bolt on, but it all measured out perfectly when I looked at doing it so it's hard for me to say.  He wouldnt let me try it and find out so a tape wast he best I could do.  The rotors would bolt on, and the axel/spacers from the 900RR would have worked perfect.  Seemed pretty straight forward to me, however I think a lot of people get scammed with F2 wheels instead of the F3.  Ebay is classic for that crap.  In my opinion..........I cant say for sure, but it seemed like it would.

Gixxereater is right.

Use everything from the 900RR wheel, on the F3 wheel (if it actually is an F3 wheel), for 95 to 97's. Worst case, you'll have to find a washer or extra spacer to compensate for where the speedo parts were, on the 93 and 94.

Thanks. I got a F3 wheel of ebay, and I'll post EXACTLY what I did to make it work.

The add said 97 f3 wheel, and the pictures are definitely of a 97 f3 wheel, just have to see if he sends what he sold.

How did the swap work?

I am trying the same but I think I got scammed since my 93 900 rotors do not match up with the supposed "F3" rim.
