Hi everyone, I'm new here . . . . I just got a '01 CBR600 F4i . . . my question is when you check the oil through the window do you measure when the bike is up-right or when tilted on kickstand? It's full when upright but empty when on kickstand. Trying to download the service manual now too. Thanks

Upright,

Yes upright. You may want to invest in a stand to help out with this. Also just nice to have.

I assume things all the time, usually just makes an ass out of myself and others. And I love to see women riders....they keep the sport much more interesting. Any more questions just shoot....and don't mind the guys tripping over themselves to give you answers :). The board is full of knowledgable people, and a few of us myself included that are followed around by bad luck, so there is plenty of experience from previous problems as well. The F4i is a beautiful bike, enjoy it.

Peace
Brendon
