This Sunday I have a group ride leaving the Sacto area and heading up into the Sierra Mountains, up to Monitor Pass..if you are familiar with the area it is very beautiful..We are leaving the Chevron station located at Hwy50/ Latrobe Rd in El Dorado Hills and then heading out some twisty backroads, up Hwy 88 and then all the way up to Monitor Pass..here is a link for some info about the intended route!!MONITOR PASS

I went on a solo ride about a year ago, down around Tahoe. Lunch at S. Lake Tahoe then on the Markleeville and over Monitor. Back north on 395 for home. Nice views of the valley from the east side. It only took about 6 hours with a couple stops. You guys must have had fun. Soon as I get my chain master link squeezed I'll be on the road again.
